Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a treatment at Holistic Dermal Clinic?
The fastest way to book a treatment is to use our online booking system here. If you have any questions you can find our contact information here. Please know that while we are attending to our clients, our email, messages and phone are not monitored – we will respond to you as quickly as possible.
Does Holistic Dermal Clinic accept Walk-Ins?
Due to the set up of the clinic and the privacy we aim to provide, we are By Appointment Only. Please make an appointment using our booking system or find our contact information here to get in touch.
Where are you located?
We are located at 32 Ross River Road, Mundingburra, inside the Advanced Health & Hand Therapy building. More information can be found at the bottom of your appointment reminder email.
I’m not sure what treatment is best for me, which treatment should I book?
If you are unsure what your skin needs, we highly recommend booking the Holistic Dermal Consultation. In this consultation we can design a suitable treatment and/or skincare plan for you. Alternatively, you can book a Holistic Adaptive Facial, where we create a custom treatment to suit you.
Do I need a consultation before my first appointment?
Some treatments we have coming soon will require a consultation. However, you will know on booking if you are required to have a consultation with us first. This will only be required for the treatment options that need some preparation pre-treatment and a full understanding of what the treatment involves (you will be made aware of this).
Do I need to complete the consultation form prior to my appointment?
We greatly appreciate you completing the consultation form ahead of your appointment. Incomplete consultation forms may delay the start of the treatment. Completing this in advance allows us to ensure there are no required medical clearances or special circumstances we need to take into consideration. If we find there may be a contraindication to treatment, this provides time to reschedule or change your appointment type if needed.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we take a deposit upon booking to secure your appointment. This is done through our online booking system.
Do you have a cancellation fee or policy?
Yes, for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and no shows, we charge a fee. We understand that sometimes things just happen in life and appointments need to be changed. We require 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling your appointment. If you need to reschedule, please email, call or message us with more than 24 hours notice and we will happily change this appointment time.
Failure to meet these requirements will result in your deposit being forfeited. We thank you for your understanding in providing us with notice.
How do I prepare for my appointment?
In order to get the most out of your appointment, we ask that you arrive on time. If you are late to your appointment, we may not be able to provide you with the treatment or we may have to modify the treatment. Please complete any required consultation forms ahead of your appointment.
We require all retinols/retinoids and exfoliants to be ceased 5 days prior to treatment and 5 days post treatment - this is to minimise risk of a reaction and over sensitisation. Please wear minimal to no jewellery to your appointment as we ask you to remove it prior to the start of the treatment.
